So my last journal entry was on my 18th birthday.
Strange really, since it's nearly Christmas and I'm 20.
And yet it feels like no time has passed at all.
I think I lost the deviantart motivation a long time ago though.

So I'm like, totally like... 18 now, like.
Stayed up until all hours of the morning being bombarded with sms'.
And I'm still extremely excited. Lame, I know.
But now, legally, I can own a gun, buy alcohol, drive, gamble, vote, etc etc.
Or...  get drunk and shoot people from a moving vehicle while pulling slot machine levers and writing on voting slips. Go me.
Yes, go me.

Today I am home sick... I was able to do some research on drama, but I can't bring myself to study for psychology... which is pretty stupid since the mid-year is coming up. BUT ENOUGH of my boring school-life news. Other than I shall point out at this very moment how much I love the common room. In fact.... I do believe it's POETRY time! I call this....
'Ode to the Common room':

Common, oh Common, oh Common room...
How I love thee, like the flower's bloom
Your microwave, and your hot mugs of soup
And the way that in winter inside we all group.
The photos of us, put up on the walls
The chuck norris poster, that nearly started a brawl
The yellow 'teh fish' plate, pinned up with care
All works together so the walls are not bare.
I pledge now, my life, to this homely place
Never in there will I ever grimace.
Because inbetween classes, and at snack and lunch time
I sit there and talk until the bell chimes.
Maybe in a few years, when I marry my groom
I shall look back and remember, my dear common room.

So yes, now that all have seen my amazing poetic skills, and basked in its glory, I shall venture on.
So far this year has been quite... nice. Well, I remember at the start of the year, when I was young and innocent and had no idea about the hell of year 12, I said to myself, and my best friends "when I leave, I'll cry so much... I really don't want to go". Now, in direct contrast to that ridiculous quote, I shall now be known to quote this: "I hate school and I can't wait to leave". You see, I don't even know what Uni course I want to do, or if I'll go to Uni. I have no idea what I'm good at... other than writing silly poems, and even that probably isn't as cool as my feeble mind seems to think.  So right at the moment I am in a complete state of loss over what on earth to do with my life. Why? You may ask? Well, little kiddies, it is quite easy to say "I want to become a VET when I leave school" but quite another thing to get 99.95 for your enter score and get into the course. But again, enough of my boring school life depressive news. I shall now talk about some of the highlights of my year so far.

1) Going to Cold Rock with Shelle.R and Cleo. I had forerro rocher ice-cream with tim tam, cookie dough and raspberry mixed in. It was a beautiful image of goey crap that tasted similar to what I would imagine heaven to taste like (if heaven was edible)
2) Singing for youth. Especially since we've moved to the auditorium. Oh, the joy.
3) Winston falling over in the middle of Juanita's wedding speech at the really emotional part
4) Going to Phillip island with my girls
5) Meeting some lovely people whom I get along with really well (SCOTTTYYYYYYY)
6) Tom's 18th! Everyone looked soooo very snazzy.
7) Filming for 'The wedge' on channel 10 and meeting some really cool people
8) Knowing that it's only so long before Krispy Kreme opens in Melbourne (although the wait is killing me)
9) Listening to Shelle.R's stories in media and getting jelous. (Haha... nah... you know I love it Shelle)
10) Watching Shelle.A and Sarah go insane in the common room and get bruises all over them because they kept running into chairs, tables and falling to the floor.
11) Sarah steping on that poor guy in the city when we were playing an extremely violent version of hospital during our night-time picnic in Alexandria gardens
12)Having a circular bruise around my face for 3 days because I sucked on an empty pringles container too hard
13)Going with Lizzy to D.M.S (Discipleship Ministry school) on Sunday nights and meeting awesome people and just totally getting to know God 100% better and I'm just learning heaps.

And that's basically the main highlights of my year so far. Which sounds dumb and pathetic, but HEY.. I guess that describes me as a whole anyway, haha.

I have a mysteriously sore tounge and I have no idea why. Maybe I burned it.

18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
I think that every war and famine has a grand plan. A plan that we don't see yet. The world is the way it is in preperation for something far bigger to come. So I wouldn't change drastic things. Even ending famine would be a political move, as those third-world countries might rise up politically and cause massive threats to the rest of the World. So.. nothing. It's all in God's hands, I guess. I wouldn't change people either. I don't like the thought of artificial manipulation. The world doesn't revolve around me.  If I changed the world so that everyone loved one another, we'd never know authentic love because we'd never know hate, or pain, or anything in comparison. It is the way it is for a reason. I wouldn't want to proove the chaos theory!
